Henry Fisk, The part of the artistic process I engage with is always focus. My mind, which repeatedly drifts into sporadic thoughts, discovers the mental road maps that guide me towards artistic expression and visual coda when creating. The same focus I seek to find, struggle to maintain, tend to ignore or disregard in social settings, in formal meetings, or anywhere in which creating isn’t involved reveals itself the moment I enter inside of the artistic space. The acrylics, aerosols, and graphite I utilize to create echo this focus as a means to assist me in each mural, portrait work, figurative piece, illustration or even sketch. Without creating, all of you and all of this are found. I become mentally lost as I try to maintain analytical cognition when the only thing that offers focus is creating.

Celeste Mandolph, Art is a beautiful form of meditation and expression. Through meditation I've used Visual Art as a tool to express myself. Self-taught, I've both learned from, and experimented with, several mediums, furthering my love of and with Visual Art. African American women and girls are not often represented in everyday art, leading me to refi ne my style to a "Dedication to the African American woman and girl". My strongest desire is to show the community the love, power of peace and the strength within the positive image. My passion is to inspire others to join their local communities, and to express themselves through art as a positive outlet while beautifying their surroundings in a way that will ultimately create change in mood and morale.
Lee McCormick, My love for art has evolved over my life with the beginning primarily involving drawing/ sketching various subject matter such as people, places and things. I now do a variety of styles and other related categories (including traditional & digital painting, indoor and outdoor murals, multi-media assemblage, graphic art, illustration & design. My most preferred materials to work with thus far are oil pastels, acrylics, modeling clay, shattered glass, gold leaf, tree bark, micro glitter, enamels, iridescent, flourescent, and luminescevt paints. I now have the confidence to create larger scale projects after creating several public murals, art assemblages and public installations here in the Sacramento region. I of course want to share my work with the world so they can feel my passion for creative expression as well as see my vision for what I think visually compelling artistry is. I like to think of my self taught gift of art as like a "pot of gumbo" (blending various styles and techniques to arrive at a deliciously satisfying outcome of creative flavor) My body of work includes themes relating to everything from social injustice, historical events, celebrated musicians, athletes and movie stars and I rarely use just a single type of medium in my work unless it is just a graphite pencil or another type of drawing!
